Will the gen2 4Runner calipers fit to replace the Gen1's? With little, none or easy modification?

EDIT: The Gen1 is also IFS. Last year model of Gen1

Caution : Don't get V6 calipers unless you also plan to upgrade your discs as the V6 uses a 25mm thick disc as do some Surfs.

Any basic Gen 2 4cyl petrol /diesel 4Runner or Hilux calipers will do.

i realise you want little or no mods but the disks are thicker.
fyi the v6 calipers do bolt straight on however the backing plate needs 5mm taken off each end as they are a touch longer in the body.you need to use ifs rotors or vented lc fj40 rotors.from memory the rotors are off an 84 lc and around 100 bucks. the pistons in the v6 calipers are a little bigger and an 80 series master cylinder will move the required fluid with its larger 1 inch bore.although pedal effort is slightly higher they stop noticably better and mine have yet to show fade like the stockers.
