Can anyone tell me whats a fair price to pay for a Himount?

Im Thinking if you get one complete and in working order for a $1000 or under youd be doing very well.

I got a highmount in perfect as new condition for $750
The bloke had used it probably twice. The winch is around 10 years old but has been in a shed for about 9 of them :D
It took a lot of patience for a deal like that to come up.
Anything under 1g is a good price depending on condition.

Thought so!

Think im onto one for $800, with all the cable leads and Soleiniod pack etc. Newish wire cable & appraently has been used a bit but serviced a few years ago and sat in the shed ever since.

Bout time I forked out the pennies!

Your better of buying one that gets used a fair bit, ones that sit around on the front of cars fill with shit

I bought one that was about 4 years old for 800

Last one was 200, kits were 200.....Cheap :D

My mate picked one up for $600. Saw a 4wd in a carpark that looked like the 4wd and winch had never been used and offered the guy cash upfront. Not knowing the value he sold it straight away!!

A highmount for 600 bucks condition unknown aint too bad... but a wench for 600 bucks you'd wanna be able to test it's pulling power
