You've probably stuffed your CV's and Crown wheel and pinion from loading it backwards without the hubs locked in

Just kidding :D

Its actualy is a good thing to do if you havent been offroading for ages,
gets the oil splashing around and coating everything in oil.

I Heard that if this is done long term (for like 2 weeks straight), then it can have adverse effects on bearings because one side axle may spin at double speed etc. I've had my doubts, but it seems possible, any other opinions?

Interestingly the manual suggests to lock in the hubs, and run around without the short stick engaged to lube up the internals.

They do however say not to engage short stick without engaging the hubs.
I would imagine it has to do with the unloaded axles and the possiblity of one catching, and the other spooling up.
Maybe its also got to do with unloaded cvs and possible whipping of them without their ends engaged in the hub locks.

lets not scare ssfabricator now....

All he needs to know is that for the distance he drove, nothing would have been damaged ;)
