More Viscous hub woes

Hey all,
A while ago I had some overheating issues with my TD42 Mav while going up a long hill on a hot day. I examined the viscous hub and decided to refill it with the Toyota oil. All went fine but I can now see in the engine bay that the oil has spun out of the hub and it's feeling quite loose again! :(
There was no wobble to the shaft of the hub so I assumed that the bearing was OK, so I'm thinking that the large oring gasket is causing the leak.
I phoned Nissan today and was told that the oring was not available and a new hub would set me back $440!!!!!
Can anyone suggest anything to fix my hub or maybe where I can get a new oring?
Thanks all!

go to a seal place with o-ring in hand and they should be able to make one for you for next to nothing. then a couple more bottles of fluid.

Thanks, I'll look for a local seal place, should be able to find one of those in Perth.
Maybe this is the way to go? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-PATROL-TD ... dZViewItem

Some ppl on here have said that the non genuine ones dont work as good. I would just get a seal made up.

Sometimes that kind of seal can be rejuvenated by placing in a bowl of very hot water and left standing. You have nothing to lose by making the seal with RTV silicon. Put it on so that when you clamp it together you aint ending up with it squidging inside and fouling up the workings.
