Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey there all. Anyone fitted lockers, auto, or air. I have a 2001 v6 duel fuel auto......
Can't decide whether to fit auto or air lockers to the front or rear or both.
But for the time being how can I check my LSD is working ,and what brand is best?
