Blue Max Suspension

Any one here using them?
The suspension in my 89 hilux is completely shaged and I'm looking for a economical (but not crap) suspension kit.
Ive been quoted $1200 for an entire 2" lift kit for blue max (35mm gas shocks, springs, polly bushes, greasable shackles and pins, u bolts, adjustable torque rod and steering dampener) The truck is a weekend touring truck mainly towing a camper trailer (560kg) and doing medium off road work. The truck has an alloy tray and bull bar, 130L long range tank and a 3 liter straight 6 motor out of a supra. Any suggestions or opinions?

I've been told the blue max and efs spring come out of the same factory (same thing rebadged) any one else know of this?
Where can u get a full efs kit with shakles, bushes, dampener, torque rod, Etc for $1200? Cheapest ive found so far is $1400 and thats with out dampener shackels and torque rod.
How did the blue max rear leaves hold up?
My truck is live axle so its leaves all round!
cheers

You get these comments about everything.. shocks, springs, tyres, electrical gear etc etc... even if they come from the same place, they would be made to different specs, and/or different materials.

Any one else had anything to do with blue max?
Dont get me wrong id love to get efs but i really need to save some coin at the moment. With all the efs kits i've priced none come with shakles, pins, u bolts, dampener or torque rod. When you add all those little bits up its around $600 ontop of the kit. im thinking bluemax as all this is in the kit for $1200.
Oppinions?
What have others spent of there suspension?

i disagree, ironman are fine if your prepared to play with the leaf packs.

Im sorry if i have offended some of you with the comment that ironman is shit but in my experience they arent verry good. My mate had them in his lux (comfort ride not load carring) and you could feel every bump in the road!!! This is what i base my oppinion on as well as what ive read in other threads where most stated they are too stiff.

I would disagree, I've had ironman leafs in my 75 for about 120,000 kms and have not had a problem with them.

I am running a kit consisting of EFS shocks and Bluemax springs. The newer Bluemax springs ARE efs springs, simple as that. The older design was not.
I have had the kit in for just over 12,000k's and am very impressed. My front end flexes way better than most hiluxes I have seen with a 2" lift. The rear pack is a little stiff but nothing removing a leaf wont fix

Bluemax gear is from Cofap and same with majority of other shocks & struts etc.
I have been running Bluemax struts, shocks, coils & leafs since July last year on my 06 SR5 Hilux (2 inch lift) and have had a couple of hiccups but the warranty is 100% they have had a few issues with newer model Hilux struts but are now much stronger.
Have been very happy with my suspension, much better ride than standard. Highly recommend em!

Had Iornman in the raider and they were quite good and flexed well. I would think if your mate felt every bump in the road then either he asked for HD springs, shocks or both.
Wouldn't have made any difference what brand he had got, if the springs/shocks are not matched for the application and/or each other, the ride/performance is gonna be crap.
