Insurance for my lil monster truck

Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will give me fire, theft and 3rd party property insurance on a modified shorty 40? I have 35's, 3" body lift, 2" spring lift, 8" rims, sports seats, roll bar etc, most insurance companies are scared or only do full comprehensive cover. Australian 4x4 will only give full comp, and it's $530 per year. Any ideas?
Thanks, Chris. :x

Only being a cheap weekend toy, and already paying for other car rego's and insurances, I wanted a cheap 3rd party fire and theft cover. I'm 30, and the trucks only worth about $6K.

For third party (no fire and theft) on my Zuk SPOA and 35's AAMI (I think thats who I am with) as a second vehicle for a 28year old rating one driver they wanted about $300 .. (will know in a week as I will get the bill for next years insurance)
The GU is only about $500 for full comp ... go figure ..

I just did the rounds of insurance companies for my middy cos I'm doing a V8 conversion.

I've thrown out brocures from TCIS and Aus 4wd but I ended up going through Just Car Insurance (underwritten by AAMI)

I'm paying $590 full comp on modded vehicle but the brosure says they'll do 3rd party fire theft on any vehicle with a market value under $4000

131326, give it a shot

Try DGA Insurance - I think they are underwritten by CGU

www.dgainsurance.com.au

I have my 40 insured through them and they have NO RESTRICTIONS on mods or accessories and you are covered ANYWHERE on or off road :D

Im currently insured with AAMI and im considering putting a bodylift on. I already have suspension mods listed on the policy and when i rang today to see if i would be still covered if the bodylft goes in they said.... NO, we will definately not insure u with those mods...... I even explained that i would be prepared to get an engineers certificate on it... STILL NO... She, u know the AAMI chick, even asked me if i intended to drive it offroad...

Taking my business somewhere else i think....

Your thoughts....
