Internally or externally sensed alternator???

I have just bought a Projecta 120A dual battery isolator to help charge my winch battery. Upon reading the instructions it says:
"Suitable for Vehicles with Externally Sensed Alternators only, otherwise you will need to use a ELECTRONIC type ISOLATOR".
Is a Suzuki Sierra alternator externally sensed? Is EF falcon? thats what I'll be upgrading to soon (well maybe?).

by externally sensed they might mean regulated? if not i dont no, but from memory the zooks have a built in reg and most of the early falcons up tp about 94 i think are are externally regulated aswell, but im just havin a wild guess.

Want 33's,My manual sais for a standard alternator,It features a solid state regulator that is mounted inside the alternator. All regulator components are enclosed in a solid mold,So I guess this is internally regulated, hope this helps,Cheers Paul.

That is the plan once wiring is finished. I thought about running a cable between batteries with a switch in case start battery ever goes flat.
