Look for the screws

You could try downloading a workshop manual for a start should be one around for that car.

Anyway, you'll have 2-4 screws down the rear and rear sides you'll probably have screws in the storage box as well, then some more screws up towards the front sides then pull the centre console up and out if needed

then feel under the edges for holes/screws up around the radio etc.

Then you'll have to work out how the radio has been installed.

Some cars have rails which you screw in the sides of radio to hold the radio.

You might need the braket holder which might need some modding IE hole made larger with a file etc.

the other is using a bracket but seeing as it's a jap car I couldn't see you needing the bracket, it's old hat even for late 1980 jap cars.

You work from the rear towards the front and you go backwards to re-do everything once finshed.

You should sus out a wire harness as well if you don't want to solder the radio in the car, this is the best way.

Take someone who knows what to look for about 30mins but if you have no idea be a few days as you might need unexpected things like certain fuses, wire harness etc.

I've done 3 different cars myself now, an 1978, 1986 and 1991.

Just don't try to rush it otherwise you'll start breaking things

Just take a good feel around first then start undoing screws etc as they will be hidden but not too hard to find.

yea will do...i just wasnt to sure if it was srews or clips because i no most other vehicles r just cliped on like the GU centre part and ive got all the time in the world to get this unit installed and i'd rather do it myself as i can learn a couple of new things myself, i have installed head units before but only on older model cars havent really worked on a sports luxury car before until now so i guess i will have to wait and see and take my time installing the unit, im not intending on doing a rushed job to as i might stuff something else up.
