Snorkel on RR

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows if i can fit a snorkel to my 85 RR? Ive been told i cant because it has twin carbies and they have to run at a constant velocity? has anyone else heard this? I also have a problem with my RR dying everytime i go through a river? anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it? Thanks...

CRAP!! only with LpG... if you have a problem turn the snorkel 90deg
Run an air line from the air intke and tap the dizzy...... works OK!!!
or
If you have on board air tap the dizzy and run a valve from air tank or comp to let air into the dizzy turn on when it rains
.... FARKIN WORKS A TREAT!!!!
I had my 3.9 EFI with water over the bonnet with the engine still running!!

Pressure feed the dissy as Mick says works great.
Fit the snorkel will be no issues.

Dude was talking through his snorkle....
Assuming you have the original airbox that sits behing the carbs and has a single input its easy as...
If you have a couple of cone KN filters [which is a common mod?] then you are better off trying to source the original airbox which is cheap and easy to seal...
All the rangie suppliers Cooper/RSpares/AMV will have snorkles to fit but some cleverly bent 3 inch stainless exhaust will do the job and is not prone to getting smashed like the fibreglass versions...
