Duncan they use the same locker for the rear of the prado as the hilux so it will have the same splines and the diff centre should just bolt in as far as i know as long as they have the same amount of bolts atatching the 3rd to housing.Worst case use the 3rd and fit the centre from the hilux if bolt pattern is diff
Axles are longer as the diff is wider but if it comes with axles then thats no dramas anyway. The hilux would be a bit short in the prado housing

If you find out for sure let us know.
I have a Prado and would like to put 4.88's from a hilux in, put no one can tell me 100% if the hilux centre will bolt straight in or vise versa.

When chris had to get a new Ring pinion they used a normal hilux ringy so they are the same

Prado and hilux diff' centers certainly are interchangeable as are bundera and 80's/hzj75's front.
FYI the original Prado sold overseas was a long wheelbase Bundera with a 2LTE or 22R engine and the trickest looking rear cargo glass I've ever seen they bend around the back of the vehicle to the barn doors.
