Just a quick one, can you easily swap a 2.8 into an 84 Dual cab in place of the 2.8?

My hilux has a 2.4L instead of the stock 2.2L (it is an 82 model). It is sick - also has a 5 speed from later model. Engine is 86. You can only tell the difference if u are looking.

Snafu - You have a 1982 Hilux 4 speed - with the 5th gear taken from a hiace van - trust me 8)

8) Who ever had that lux before me did a shit load of work to it - but man we have not had to put a spanner to it 8)
