has anyone got info/photos of shaving some off the bottom of a 40/60 seris diff. been told you can get 1-2 inches off there.

Here you go mate ....
I didnt measure before hand but easy and inch of extra gain .....plated back in with 6mm ground and smoothed the outer and welded the inner ....I didnt go to the extreme ie: minimum kept a wee bit of clearance off the crown just incase a hard knock pushes it in a bit .....
