Hey,
I lifted my SWB 97 model Vit on the weekend .... using 30mm Lovells and Dobinsons struts/shocks plus 15mm spacers all round .....
This combo lifted it a full 2" and now i have positive camber on the front ... so i bought camber bolts ( whiteline ) and rang a couple of shops to see about adjusting/fitting ......
One shop ( hammond 4wd centre ) said if i fit them they will allign it no prob, then i ring city suspension, they say camber bolts are weak and prone to break and refuse to fit them, offering instead to modify the struts maintaining stock mounting bolts to get the camber right ( $125 ) which works out the same as buying the bolts and getting an allignment.
Any more experienced people care to offer advice on the right way to go ? Anyone had camber bolts break on their rig ?
Cheers,
Mark.

I'm also running the whiteline bolts and have so for the last 6 months with no issues.
Both seem reasonable as both can maintain camber in the long term, it's just the question about the longevity of the camber bolts?? I have pushed the car reasonbly hard since I've had them there, so........

I have camber bolts fitted; you can have the struts modified with out having to fit them.
But if you have brought them try Fulcrum at Moorooka, they fitted mine.
Can't remember how much.

Thanks for the replies .... I think i will go with the camber bolts for now, main reason is i dont know if i like the suspension setup ( really stiff ) and it will be easier to change things with adjusting bolts ..... not sure what my options are for getting a more comfortable setup and maintaining the height ... any ideas ?
