plenty of post of people mentioning it, but has anyone actually done it and if so who did it and how much power did they get out of the sluggish 6

Hi. Yep I supercharged mine about six months ago. As far as power I haven't dynoed it yet but it has heaps more controllable low down which is what I was after plus it will still rev it's head off. Fuel consumption is heaps better, about an extra 50km per tank on the highway, probably because I don't have to drive it as hard.I have had some dramas with pinging high gear low rev but I have purchased a fuel upgrade kit from URD in the states. My mate is fitting it for me within the next few weeks so I will be able to update you then. Apparently this will give another 75 HP and better economy again. I'll be surprised to see how true this is. Regards Mickey

Better give it a spin on the dyno first be good to see if it does

Where'd you get the kit from? and can i ask how much?

My free advice is get a unichip (the dyno comes free then) as it will damage the motor if left...u will get alot more power from a unichip controlling the advance
