no....I didn't make my battery cry...but my deep cycle battery keeps weeping acid out of the breathing holes in the inspection plugs, even after a short drive.

I am running a standard duty solenoid that has never missed a beat. It charges a 700 cca starting battery and a 1000 cca deep cycle battery in a Range Rover with a 110amp alternator.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Andrew

My main battery was doing this. I noticed it a few weeks ago then on the weekend it dropped a cell :x Not sure if it was indicative or not...

I hope yours isn't on the way out.

i gather its not a sealed unit, and u havent over filled it when checking the leves, check ur charge rate if its over 15 volts be worried, if not get hold of a hydrometer and check the cells, if there is any difference in the cells its on its way.
