mate just got a lock rite (or similar) for then front. Problem is his center has 2 spider gears not 4. Anyone know the reasoning of this? Did only certain models come out with these? The locker wont fit in.
Any help would be great, cheers Julian[/b]

Normal. From memory the WT (88 on) had a 2 pin carrier. Just swap a 4 pin in, using the front side gears so the axles still fit.

You will need to swap your current crown-wheel to a 4-pin carrier, and swap in front diff side gears to match your current inner axle spline. Front and rear axles have different spline count, so you need to match the side gears respectivley.

You will need to swap the crownwheel to ensure that the front ratio matches the rear one. I'm not sure what rig you have, so you will have to work it out. Best bet is to swap your current cownwheel to you donor carrier. That way you keep the same ratio, as well as a matching crownwheel and pinion. You shouldn't mix crown wheel and pinion gears, as they are usually wear matched to each other.
