Can I mount an isolator (sealed Piranha one) inside on the passenger side kick panel? Any issues with this?

Battery is in the boot, running the cable under the trim to the back. There's no room under the bonnet to do it.

I can't see an issue, just fuse both ends of each battery wire.

I'd expect the Pihrana unit doesn't produce too much heat, but I'd test it out of the car first just to be sure. If that's ok, then sounds like a good spot.

And like Hotfour said, fuse both end....go to Dick smith for the big arse doof boy fuse blocks.
