Replacing fusible links. How do they come out???

Post by ausyota »

I need to replace the 80amp glow plug fusable link in one of my Luxs (yes I have 2 :P ).
How the fark do you get them out? There must be a trick to them?
The smaller amp ones pop straight out but the 80 amp and 100 amp ones do not budge.
I have broken the crap out of it trying to get it out with pliers and screwdrivers.

you need to pull the whoel little black box out and then they have little bolts holding them from the side and underneith.
you also need to slip the plastic shroud off the out side to get to the small bolts.

took me a while to figure it out aswell....

cheers
