Wiring a reversing light

help!!! I want to wire up reverse light with a switch so when reversing during day the reverse light can be isolated. Has anyone done this, can I get the diagram.

I can't find the reversing wire in cab, and I have two way switch does this alter things.

using a two way swich will just mean you wont hook up the swich to ACC power. i just ran a wire from the back of the car i couldnt find the wire in the cab either, having a 3 way swich means i can turn the light on/off or auto with the reverse lights.

its illegal but easy the way i did it, just run a wire , past the switch from the batt with a fuse of course, then to the light then to ground
easy on or off when ever you want it

Ok as long as the switch can cope with the continuous current flow.

This recent topic here in 'General' might help you...
I posted a diagram there which can use a 2 or 3 way switch, where power is supplied direct through the switches.
