Can u comment why u choose that tyre please as i was going to buy the MTZ but that claw looks nice
But i use the car for road use and i don't want something that's going to a pain in the ass to use on the road ..
I was thinking MTZ becuase it will be good for for both but how does the claw go on the road ?
Now the car is a SWB and i'm thinking a 3" dobi lift and 33's would be good then make custom bar to protect the rear quarter and some sliders..
Do i need springs/shocks x4 and castors?
How high does a 3" lift make my guard sit from the ground to the top of the flare with 31's...
Also is there any difference between king and dobi springs?
Were would be the best place to buy this all from maybe even get a deal on tyres and sus..
Any other oppions or suggestions on tyres or sus would be great
Rick.

Radial claws are nothing like the bias ply claws and I wasn't as happy with them compared to MTR's. My vote is for the MTZ's as they will give better lateral traction.

Duh... to look cool
And a 3" lift will make your guard about 3" higher than it is now

easy fix there, get better at driving
iv seen ppl in stock 40 series and old rovers go further on the same tracks than ppl with bog lift, diff locks, big rubber and big flex, just coz they know how to handle there bus better. more often than not its as simple as that, all the mods just make life a little easier instead of abit of a challenge and some driver ability...
i hope to get some more driver ability one day...

I've switched from radial claws to MTZs on the 4runner (with some Kuhmo KL71's in between) and am much happer with the MTZ's as a daily driven tyre. Quiter, smoother, and handle better on dry and wet bitumen. Seem to be wearing a lot better too.

Was up Fraser for 10days over new years and they were great. Ran them at 15psi and didn't get stuck once....My 4runner doesn't see much serouis offroad work but, so can't really comment on rocks....They are good in the mud but.
I'll stick them on the 40 and give them a proper run someday.
