Hey,

i have a spare vit ac fan here and thinking of installing it as a push style for more airflow on either a switch on demand or temp controlled?

would this work, not expecting for const use as have the viscous fan but more for crawling or boggy arse sand.

Having a fan either side of the radiator isn't a good idea.
What can end up happening is a reduction of airflow due to the difference is speed and flow of the two fans. If the push fan pumps more air then there is a pressure build up between the two fans which can result in turbulance between the two so the air basically spins like a twister with only the 'eye' of the twister flowing air.
If the push fan doesn't push enough then a vacuum is created and air flow is reduced as the pull fan starts to force the air around itself instead of pulling air through the radiator.
It's easy to see if you put smoke through the fans.

This would be the same as the factory setup if this matters. as i have transplanted the whole 1.6 inc visous fan into the sierra and the a/c fan was off the front cut also used only for a/c.

I dont have the AC radiator and i am guessing this is where u are coming from as from either side of rad. as this typically would have two rads in there (normal and ac)

I did this mod a few years ago.
Wired up the factory 10" a/c electric fan (located in front of the condenser) to a switch on the console for a bit of extra airflow.
Seemed to help a bit on really hot days and long, steep, slow hillclimbs.
Then I ripped out all the a/c including the condenser and made up a bracket in front of the radiator this allowed enough room to fit another 10" fan next to the other one wired to the same switch.
Basically when the motor was fully warm just idling in the driveway (guage on just under half) switch the fans on and the gauge would drop and stay on a quarter in a few minutes.

Piss off the fluid coupled fan and fit thermos, it will make a difference in power and cool the engine.

Especially if you're using them in situations where the engine fan isn't doing much (i.e. slow speed crawling).
