Outer Limits 4x4 Board

just started playing with this weber i got again. i worked out what it is, its a dfv with electric choke.its the same as a dgv except its a mirror image.did a search on it and the flooding thing is abit better because the air bleeds are isolated from the fuel bowl.i'm gettin a rebuild kit for it,then i need the adaptor plate to fit it.hope it works.Has anyone else played with these?

lots have played with webers. look for a thread in the suzy bible about webers. its a few pages long, but there are heaps of tuning tips and settings.

my 1600 with a weber goes better than a 1600 efi, sort of.

yeah i have looked at that thread a fair bit i was wondering if that type of weber has been used by someone on this forum.i've looked up some stuff by sarge n that on zuwarrie they have mixed results saying they can warp or something and hard to tune.

the weber is probly the easiest carby to tune as ya have options on every aspect of its performance. air , fuel and delivery range is easy to adjust. start with a setup similar to what others have used and tweek it to suit. i have posted several pics and mods you can do to improve its operation on severe angles. PM me if ya need help.

yeah apparently you don't have to make the mod for steep hills caus the air vents are isolated from the fuel bowl and the primary and secondry are all ready turned around so you dont have to mount it backwards.i have read that they have very thin mounting flange that is prone to warp.also the idle circuit isnt as good as the dgv.but ill give it a go.
