Gq Petrol Fuel consumption

Ive just purchased a 92 gq 4.2 petrol efi had it for 4 weeks & have tried driving nicley, hard & with camper can only get 19 Ltrs per 100 k's
just wondering what other people are getting from theres

sounds about right - thats about what I get from mine - wait till you drive very soft sand - pulling the camper

When I had mine 19 to 22 in town and the bush. Got 16 once on a long highway trip at 100kph.

Yep, sounds okay or in fact rather better than average if it's a LWB.

mines was worse, cleaned lines changed pump and gained a heap more, so am now gettin the above 18-20l

Carby Auto, With the missus driving around town, about 22 to 25
In the bush towing camper about 25..
highway best is about 16-17.
Me driving around town 18-20
worst ever.. hammering in bush and sand.. about 30.

my diesel does straight 13 litres per hundred ? OH PETROL SORRY I WOULDNT BUY 1 OF THOSE AS THEY USE TO much fuel and have a nice day hahaha

Yep all the above figures sound about right...
Best I've ever got is 16.8L/100km on a long highway trip @ 110k
Around town 20-25L....
Soft sand... terrible!

lets see what you get after you whack a turbo on wind up the boost & fuel pump, spent nearly 5g & i still whoop your but in a race (Ha Ha Ha) see you at the finish line

It seems that a 4 litre petrol costs twice that of a 3 litre diesel in fuel costs.
It seems that diesel generally became cheaper than petrol in early March 2007. ( EDIT:- 29th March it was 10 cents less than unleaded)
Will diesel vehicles increase in value?

Mine is shocking on fuel only way is to put hit on gas, mine is surprisingly efficient on gas
