somebody already proved these tire, are equal to simex, but what about
the price and the quality?

3/4's the price, a little worse on road and slightly smaller in real size, dunno about kays, but I'd buy simex's

I have a set of 33x10.5 15's, but unfortunately it hasn't been wet enough yet to try them out. They are a lot narrower than the simex, and the lugs are narrower and spaced further apart than the simex as well. Also, as cloughy said, they are cheaper!

Had 35" Silverstone Xtremes on my GU for a VERY shory while.

They really don't like gravel roads and wet bitumen.

They're now gone. I love my Simex.

We run them on our comp truck (GQ ute) and love them! In thick mud / clay we reckon they're tops, but on a wet road they suck.

Larger void between tread blocks allows them to clear easily and put a fresh, clean edge down on the ground ready to take another bite.

35x11.5's supposed to be available July/August, although I heard a rumour that a Silverstone retailer in Melbourne has a set for testing / evaluation.

We're on our 3rd set now and are hoping the 11.5's will be available over here when we need our 4th set.

the bloke at the local tire place told me that the rubber compound is to hard and gets ripped appart easier than the simmexs, apparently silverstone get alot of ppl trying to get new sets on warrenty coz they dont last long.

altho i really do like the look of the tread, and given the chance would like to try them out for myself.

give them a burl and let us know

Haven't experienced that, if anything they appear softer than the BFG M/T's we use as roadies. That said, we don't have the same sharp rocks over here that you guys do.

35x11.5 have sold out in Melb and more are on the way...yes they have a big draw back when compared to the Simex...the Silverstones sell out way too fast and are very hard to get.

Other than that they are a very good tyre for a high void comp pattern. I have been testing Silvertsones in Aus for Silverstone for many years. proof is in the pudding though and whilst they only come in up to a 35...Al tierney from Qld has won many rounds of the Qld winch challenge, placed top ten regularly at the XWC and came 3rd at the last 8 Day XI..he swears by them as do most who use them in comps.

We have filmed GQ Troll from NZ many times in competition and have seen how well they clean and haul in the mud...and that is what they are best at.

are they bias ply or radials?

Just whacked a set of 31x10.5 MT117 Ex on the sierra. On 8 inch rims they measure ~30.6 inches.

Giving them a go this weekend. Can't wait...

We have a set of the silverstones on the lux and so far can’t fault them. As many have said they’re very good for mud.

We have used them in rocky situations and they grip well… But because of the soft compound they’re easily sliced and nicked …
Other wise an excellent tire in our books. Defiantly will buy again.

do they come in a 35/36 x 15inch rim yet was told two years its was only months away still havent seen any yet

Simex, simex,simex thats all i can say. nothing else compares. yer they do wear out quicker than some, but hey they still make em

if you want an long lasting tyres buy a commodore!
if you want some grip, noise but have a heap of fun turning them.. simex me up!

Me personally? No, i discovered the simex years ago and stayed with em for what i do.

A few mates have had them and had nothing bad about them, dont get me wrong im not mocking them and i didn't, but they also didn't have anything good to say about them either. we all run simex's now on the same terrain and love them. i have had swampers etc but just keep going back to the pedes.
