Not sure if this helps or hinders...
there were some posts about 12 months ago from someone who bought a FORD blitz. RN made a comment at the time along the lines of the Chev being somewhat similar and interchangable (maybe?).
Here's the links (but I think the pics have been removed).

Hi there I'm the owner of the Ford Blitz from those old posts. They are great old beasts but depends on what you want to do with it....I use mine for moving water or winching rocks etc. They don't have a very good turning circle and the accelerator in the middle gets a bit annoying but its great fun to drive around in and I'm very impressed with its off road ability...I haven't regretted buying it but I do have a block of land to drive and use it on ( no rego )
p.s the Ford Blitz has a flat top V8 but apart from that I'm pretty sure everything is interchangable.....if you can find another one that the owner will part with
I know of 3 sitting in paddocks out this way and no-one will part with them.... hope this helps n feel free to pm me if you want to know more[/img]

yeh not much info on the net about them,
i heard a saying that if u want to get there in a hurry u'd take the ford but if u wanted to get there u'd take the chevy.
the one i'm looking at is a monkey face and there is f**k all of them left around he;s asking $4500.
might give ur mate a call up the sunny coast. if his is a runner.
