Read lots of posts about fitting suspension lifts (love your work Tiny

I'm going to install a 2" lift shortly to my GU IV and am trying to do it properly - I'm going to the extreme of replacing brake lines with braided hoses, extending the brake proportioning valve (snake racing bracket), caster correction if required, etc.
Question 1: Do people fit extensions to their swaybar links for 2", or just try to reconnect the existing pins? I don't want to go to the extreme of swaybar disconnects or anything like that, I just want to make sure it handles properly on road.
Question 2: I intend to run 33" tyres on 13mm neg offset rims. Currently without lift, they touch the front mudflaps on full lock. Will this improve once lifted, or should I get some spacers to move the front diff forward by 12mm?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tone.
