Steering wheel position

Hey
This might be a noob question, but couldn't find anything in the bible that answered it.
Does anyone know how to adjust where your steering wheel to get it to sit straight whilst driving straight? Mine is currently turned to left about 5% while the car runs straight - and it's just damn annoying!
Help?

pop your horn off with a screwdriver
then use a 17in socket to undo the nut.
pull of the wheel.. mine was a bastard to get off the first time but i drove it down the road and once going straight i removed it (nut was already off) then put it back on.. two goes and its sweet now.

Just an idea, loose the nut but don't remove it so when you try and pull the wheel it doesn't smack you in the head.( No I didn't smack myself in the head, I was told to do this by someone who did).

Check the bible for the correct way of doing it.
Off-centre steering wheel is usually a result of either a dodgy wheel alignment or possible damage. Don't just pull the wheel off and "re-align" it.

it can also be from fitting shackles or a lift etc. mine was way out also.

He He... yep, leave the nut on! The guy that fitted my sports wheel on the Jimny ended up with a busted nose and cracked cheek bone... and a cleaning bill to get the blood off the headlining

Yeah i've just put shackles on and after that it was out.
There was nothing (that i could see) in the bible about the steering wheel positioning and what to do to do it properly - so if anyone can find that link that would be great (if it exists!)
I'll have a go at popping the wheel off i think - and i'll leave the nut on!

A quick search on Google will give you a bit of info. I'm just not a fan of dodgy fixes like repositioning the steering wheel.

As the drag link on Sierra's aren't adjustable realigning the steering wheel is the only way to correct the offset, true you loss some lock from one side to the other but this isn't too bad, this will also fix the annoying little indicator problem that happens when you fit a spring lift, the reset pins on the steering wheel stop the indicator stalk clicking into position at some points.
You could get an adjustable drag link made for $200+ but why do this when there is a free fix.
