Does it make any difference which side of the b bar you fit a spot and spread beam light on ? I am leaning toward spot on pass side so that it is less likely to shine into on coming traffic ?

I've done a LOT of night driving and played around with this, personally I like looking down the road behind the spot as you get a better distance sight. Personal preference only, might be something you should have a mess around with, theres no rule that says it must be either way tho.

I see the reasoning for driver side so if there is no legal reason not to i'll just do it, thanks.

What Beretta said. If you're alomost sitting behind the Spot it gives you a better perception of the road. If the spot is on the passengers side you always seem to be looking down the side of the beam and a straight road doesn't appear exactly straight.

Spot on the right, spread on the left. Works for me, tried it the other way just to see and it didn't 'look' right.

Yeah i had 4 spots on the roof. Everything was lit up well. But i'd agree with most other people here, spot on drivers side, spread on passenger
