I'll try to help...

I've got 2" suspension and 285/75/16 (33") tyres.

I can get in car parks with 2.0mt limits. (Only just)

36" tyres would add approx 1.5" and extra 2" of lift.

So I'm guestimating approx 2.1 is what you'll be looking at.

My 2 cents....

Makes me wonder what my true suspension lift is as my 80 with 35s and (supposed) 6inch lift just fits under carpark at work stated at 2100. I only just fit by about 1-2 inchs max though). It scares the crap out of new passengers.

No body lift, roof bars etc.

I'd like to know where your normal garages are.

Most shopping centres seem so be 2.1 max. Some even 2.0.

I lost a couple of cheap roof racks once  fortunately the roof gutters didn't give up.

The original question said garage. Not carpark. Read the question.

The company I work for builds 1900 houses a year and all the garage door openings are 2400mm high. All domestic construction has a standard garage door opening of 2400mm if you have something different you are the minority.
