Gday, im after a few ideas on securing a Waeco to my fridge slide, ive seen the official waeco product, and seen others with those double ended hooks that wind up in the centre, but im after a less permanant solution. I need to remove the fridge from sierra after every trip as it would be easily stolen, so im after some kind of simple design that holds the fridge securely but is also quickly unfastenable. Any ideas?

I'd just go for the ratchet straps on each handle

A big dog?
You should still be able to buy rubber straps with hooks on the end. Not sure where you get 'em from though.

Electrical wholesalers sell them , used to hold plastic conduit on roof racks , they would do the job , come in many different lengths , Cheers Paul.

Yeh those rubber ones sound arite.
I just thought too, 4 of the spring hooks used to hold down FJ40 hoods would do the trick too.

there is , that other option instead of a rachet tie down , you can ge the ones, that are on a round rope, basicly you pull rope tight, and to let go it one leaver.

Yeh benjamin they sound similar to the motorcycle tiedowns, you just pull it tight and it stays until you push the little spring loaded part that holds the flatrope tight.
