Which One?

Hi Guys

I am looking at getting either a Denco or a Turbo Glide kit for my td42 gq, and am unsure what to go for.

I am after a turbo that will spool up quick and not so much have as much top end. I am also not after huge power gains, just somthing that will make my ute easier to drive aorund town and on the highway.

I know the Denco kit in the roller bearing version will spool up quicker than the turbo glide, However, for around $200 on top of the denco system price, i could upgrade the turbo glide system to a ball bearing turbo.

My question is, how much faster would you expect the Turbo Glide system to spool up with a ball bearing turbo (i have read the the roller bearing t28 is on boost around 1800rpm), and which system you would choose based on the uprgraded Turbo Glide system.

cheers

I had the Denco kit on my GQ, and can say their after sales service is outstanding. I had issues with a "diesel specialist" down here, that fucked it up, Denco sorted out at no cost.. They managed to get mine going very sweet in the end.. so if that side of things is important, go for it.

But a BBearing turbo will always do better than a non. Also remember, there are many brands out there AXT, DTS, Denco, Turboglide, and more...
