Outer Limits 4x4 Board

bought an 80 series last week. the car is great but at 100 kms the car is wondering over the road. had my mechanic look at it and he said the steering box is fine. has after market, king springs and koni shocks but dont know if standard or raised. cheers

find some one with a stock one and compare measurement from same point front and rear also get a wheel alingment done and ask them to check if it's within the castor specs, don't have a stuffed radius arm bush or stuffed draglink or tie rod end also panhard rod bushes will cause them to wander around get it alot in solid axle rear ends feels like your driving on flat tyre's when it's real bad

I have very bad bushes and experience the same problem. I have a 2 inch lift and try not to go over 100km/h as it wonders a bit. Will have the bushes done in the next week or 2 and see if it helps. I had the wheel bearings done and it made a differences as well.

yeah wheel bearings with too much play will also play dramas with camber and toe if there too bad at work i won't aling them and let boss know the alingment isn't done as sometimes it could make tyre wear/handling worse

As i bought it last week it had a roadworthy done on it before i bought it. I
also had new tyres put on two days after i bought it with a wheel alignment and they didnt say anything about any play in the wheel bearings or worn bushes and i guessing the degrees was fine as they didnt say anything, at a loss

there not factory adjustable so they wouldn't check it just have to ask them next time so they can find out what it is running at also some people are dodgy so tell them what the problem is and it helps with finding out what it is and i've serviced a car that had a road worthy dome less then 1000km before had oil leaks everywhere and rack bushes were worn that's just a small bit of it i wrote one hell of a list on it and they wenen't little things, so a roadworthy don't mean shit because you can get them done on the dodgy
