What are the standard tires on a DX gq and what gear ratio?

Depends what year model you have for the tyres, usually 31x10.5x15 on 15x7 rims or i think its 265x70x16 on the 16x7 rims

for diff ratios its all a matter of engine and luck

4.2L diesel with Manual are 4.11:1
4.2L petrol with manual are usually 3.9:1 some had 4.11:1
3.0L Petrol with manual are 4.37:1
4.2L Petrol with Auto are 3.9:1


If you look under your bonnet near the water bottle for the wipers there is a complaince pate with the letters HG and 2 numbers after it, HG39 gives you a 3.9:1 ratio, HG41 gives you 4.11:1 ratio and so on.

didnt some come with 7.5 tires?

gq dx usually had 5.5" split rims or safety bead rims with 7.50 16 tyres, 4.11 ratio in deisel manuel n my 4.2 petrol had 4.11 aswell
