what size backspace

Does any one know what size backspacing is required on a disco to run 34JT2 so that they have the full turning circle
What price should i expect to pay and who make coustom rims
preferr Sydney/Newcastle area

I run my 35ETs on 15x8 steelies with an equal offset of 4" in and 4" out on the front, and 4.5" in and 3.5" out on the rear.

i have 95mm off set on my rangie and i still rub with my road slicks and rub a lot with my ET's

80 mm offset,2" body ,2" spring lift .35" ET's no rubbing.

Looks like ill get 80mm offset
but how makes them at the right price.

I'm sure he means 80mm backspacing. 80mm offset would be really bad. Backspacing is preferably around 4".

I understand back space is the distance between the rim edge and the machined mating surface in the center of the rim, though how does an offset measurement work :?:

It is always best to talk in terms of backspacing as this is what is critical.

I have 0 offset and about 90mm back spacing - which I can say is not enough - but thats how it came... Another 20 -25 mm bs would make it perfect.

rims 15 X 9.5 Mac 5

I have a gold set of Mac 5's and they are 15 X 9.5
when i measeured for the off set i got the following measurements

rim edge to edge is 11 inches
inside rim edge to plate is 5 inches, so does this mean they are negative offset by 1/2 an inch ?
