Hey guys,
Have found that my centere bearing in the rear driveshaft is wobblier than usual, and just want to find out how hard it is to replace.

Chan an average backyard mechanic change it, or do u need lots of experience and special tools?

Ive replace IFS front wheel bearings before, wasnt so tuff, except fot the damn bearing cones, but it is easier or harder than this?

Is it better to take to mechanic shop or Toyota?

Thanks for the info in advance.
Cheers
Karl

Finally took the truck to a mechanic to replace the centre bearing, and for all up $170, it was replaced and most of the vibration problems I had, are now gone!

Mb still have some vibration from the unis, as im assuming they wouldnt have coped well with the wobbly centre bearing. I may even put a 1 inch spacer to drop the centre bearing down abit to alleviate the problem due to my 2 inch suspension lift, which im guessing was the reason behind the centre bearing probs.
