Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey guys,

i need an engine ASAP for my 1993 landcruiser RV (4.5L petrol) due to the fact its being used as a tow car for a drift event in adelaide and it needs to be running by thursday so we can depart.

does anyone know of any places in bris who car supply them?

also what price to expect? everyone so far as quoted around $2-$3k exchange, which i thought was a little pricey considering the 250,000+kms on them.

is 250,000kms on these motors pushing it?

Have you tried Offroad Wrecking? They used to sell them cheap. They are hard to kill. Ive got one that has 300K on it and it runs like a new engine still. I know Southside 4WD would have more 80 series Cruisers in stock than anyone else. Dont know about motors for them though.

My mate has one cheap in Wollongong....1k....there was one on ebay for 2k...check it out....

heyas, been out of state for some time, but im back to finding the motor for my landcruiser as the workshop is getting cranky with it taking up space
