I know there are a few comp trucks running GU centres at tufftruck which I think are the same as GQ.

I'm pretty sure Pete Antunacs front diff has a GU centre and the mog bushrangie was also running GU centres. This is what I was told while I was running asking questions and taking pictures of orange patrols etc.

There is also a few guys on Piriate4x4 that are running GU centres running 49s and bigger.

Cheers Mick.

Mals Bushrangie has portals but neither Pete's cruiser or Phil Nobles GU do.

They are the big GU centre (rear of 3lt diesel) with rockwell outers and custom axles.

Petes has only broken one centre and that was an aftermarket 4.88 ratio, hasnt broken one since going back to genuine 4.6's.

This is with 49's and 5 to 1 in the transfer, so yes the big centered GU would def be strong enough as for the normal GQ / GU centre not sure.....

There is more than one rear diff for a GU, 3 in total I think, theres a big one and the regular one (same size as front) and a big fully floating axle one.

I think the centre is the same but there is a fully floater with bigger axles, you can't yet get a locker for as went through this recently looking into modified side gears and stuff, i think it was mainly in commercials.

Yeh as far as i know this one with full floaters isnt from any 3lt model, its from leaf sprung utes.
