Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys, ok, I've just lifted my Shortie MK 2" with an OME kit, now I wanna chuck some entended shackles in but only wanna go about 1" over standard. With these fitted will I have problems with the front drive shaft hitting the crossmember? Also, I don't spose anyone has pics of their entended shackles? I was gonna make my own, and don't wanna go 2"

Hey mate.. Extended shackles well i modded some 75series 2 inch over toyota shackles. These although are twice the length of standard nissan ones. you could try standard toyota ones they are longer than std nissan ones. I have 3-4inch lifted with 1.5inch longer main leaves. with extended toyota shckles, super long shocks. yes front shaft does hit the cross member but anyhow just a thought

Thanks sterlo, I might have a look around for some tojo shackles this weekend. Thats a bugger about the front drive shaft. Theres no real solution other then cutting and reinforcing it isn't there. If anyone has pics of their setups that'd be awesome. Wanna go abit higher but don't wanna be replacing front shafts all the time

there is an easier solution to the X-member then cutting!
Just make some 2" spacer's for the gearbox and motor, this is fine if you have bodylift only though. I have 2" leaf's and 2" extended superior Engineering shackles, No clearence issue's on that x-member what so ever but I also got a double cardinal joint front driveshaft from a wagon because I could cheap, I had to get it shortened for it to fit the SWB chassis, but have never had an issue with the front X-member and this vehicle is my unregistered toy.
