Hi guys,
I want to put a 2" lift on my disco 1 to fit the 235/85 mudterrains i also want to fit.
Now previously in the UK i have had OME springs and shocks and have loved them, but i know here they don't have the same following.
So my options are OME springs and shocks or King springs and Bilstein shocks.
My only worry is i dont want the truck to drive like a whale after teh lift. With my OME my truck was great offroad but still firm onroad. Other people trucks i ahev driven in the past with 2" lifts of sorts have leant on bends like there is no tomorrow which is what i want to avoid. Plus i dont want to fit anti-sway bars.
So who's got king Springs and how are they on road and off?
Also what Bilstein model do i go for?
Lastly is anyone running 235/85's on steel modulars? Do they tuck up nicely into teh guards or does the offset cause them to stick to far out and consequently hit the bodywork? Thinking of either modular steels or wolf steels.
Thanks for the help guys.
