How long is your Jeep?

G'day all,
Just interested to know, what is the wheelbase of a jeep Wrangler, in stock form, and if you have made the wheelbase longer, what does it measure now? and was it worth it ??

The standard WB of a TJ is 93.4" (2373mm) as to moding wheel base no i have not done it and prob never will on my CJ

JLer is on the money.
As you lift it though, say 4-5" to fit some 35's it will decrease in wheelbase to around 91".
Lengthening the wheelbase to around 100-110" is a big job and requires extended custom made control arms, moving shock mounts and spring perches in the rear and moving the fuel tank into the back area and chopping out some of the floor etc.
If you want more detailed info about stretching one let me know.

stock is 93.4, with 35's, 4.5" of lift and long arms mine was 91"... now stretched it to about 100.5" by moving the rear axel back...

What length are the springs now, something like 4" lift in the front and 2" lift in the rear isn't it and still sitting level

6" in the front (+ 0.75" spacer) and about 3" springs in the rear...

Oh yea - is it worth it?? Can't say 100% yet as I haven't wheeled it enough yet.
I can say that from the little I have done it is much more stable and feels great. I think it has some to do with the extra wheelbase, and some to do with the improved link geometry.
Also helps to get a longer rear driveshaft which can be a bitch on lifted TJ's.
I had to re-do the rear suspension anyway, so I figured I may as well load for bear. If I was in the same position I would do it again... I like the extra length.

My TJ is abot 94' ...which is only a marginal increase over stock......I'D like it to be 100+ but that means chassis changes...

Not necessarily chassis changes Wodders, but definately some major mods!
I didn't cut or change my chasis, but did move the rear coil buckets, cut out the stock cross member, lift the fuel tank into the rear compartment, etc...

FireTruck, How did you find your wrangler for stability at 91" was it really uneasy especially down hills??
have you noticed the loss of turning circle much?? what about the chassis clearance (ramp over angle)??

noticeable difference between 91 and 100" for sure!! Particularly on steep up and down hills.
Ramp over angle is actually better now, because I went from 35's to 38.5's, and changed mt t'case to an Atlas, lifted my t'case skid a couple of inches etc.
Turning circle is worse now because I am now running wider axels and Detroits rather that ARB's before...
As you can see, kinda hard to compare apples with apples!!
