Snatching points on wg 2001 grand jeep

Post by scorpion »

Can any one advise on the snatching points of a 2001 wg grand cherokee.
The manual identifies front and rear points for off road recovery but the 4x4 shops are saying no. Which is it????????

Got a towbar , haymen reece style , that will do as a rear , but as the mob will say you need one of those solid shafts to fit a shackle , so that the grade 8 pin doesn't brake , as for the front can you post some pics of the supposed recovery mounts , Cheers paul.

Go to photobucket.com and create user profile like outers , then login and open photobucket in another tab so you can swap back and fourth. Then while in photobucket click browse , this will open a window and you select thumbnails in top right , then select one photo and clickopen. The selected image appears where you clicked browse. For the first go select just one photo.Next wait till your photo loads , then scroll down the page until you find generate html and img coded , click this button once. You must tick the box at the bottom left of your photo. A screen saying generated html, ebay and img code. Pick img images for message boards and click once , It will turn blue and say copied. You should have your post reply open and press enter a few times to make a space for photo. Once it sais copied open up your post reply and paste photo , then click preview and your photo should appear ,Hope this helps , Cheers Paul.
