Pretty vague question ,

My econo criuser {120y}

The alternator light is on constantly but its still charging ,
all the fuses are OK and wires are still attached at the the alternator .

To add the other day i had the bonnet up in heavy rain , the charge light was getting a glow with the ignition turned off :shock: this soon desapiared once it dried out agian .

light was on before the wet day .
Any ideas ?

You may have a stuffed regulator or regulator module (depending on whether it's part of the alternator or not.)

To be honest, on the old beater econo vehicle, I'd ignore it :) and maybe install a cheap voltmeter instead.

Im thinking this also , have a huge hole in the dash so may fill it with
some of those elchepo gauges .
