Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey, I've put some 33x12.5 tyres on my car (GQ Patrol 2" lift) and the tyre is very close to the gaurd and hits mudgaurd when turning. I want to keep factory flares and mudgaurds. Is getting radius arm spacers the best solution? And if so is it worth spending $60 on them from a 4x4 place - seems pretty rich for a couple of washers?

yer it pisses me off how everything with 4x4 attached at the end gets marked up to a stupid price

Make them yourself, Theres a thread on nissan section somewhere about them. Off memory you cant go wider that 14mm.

it would be cheaper to go to a metal land or steel supplier and ask for 2 small discs, 40mm diameter, 10mm thick with a 20mm hole in it.... i think thats the size.

tell ya what..... PMme your name and addy and i'll send you down the ones i made for mine (i replaced my radius arms) They are 15mm thick and may need a mm or two taken off them... on mine the panhard rod bolt just hit the pumpkin....

the larger washer needs to have 45mmOD-24mmID and the smaller washer 24mmOD-16mmID

both the same thickness obviously

Also, I forgot to ask are the splines on the tailshaft long enough to operate with the diff 10-15mm further away?

i have had no trouble so far

I've got Snake arms which move the diff forward with 15mm spacers as well and the driveshaft is handling it so far.

how do these go on? any one have any pics?

for 33's if you take the metal bits out of the front mudflaps. this will fix the problem enough to not need radius arm spacers.

Also with the radius are spacers it makes the spring sit wrong so they may sag earlier than what they would if they sat normal.
