80 series diesel subtank Q

Im trying to find out whether or not the diesels used a transfer pump for transfering fuel from the sub to the main tank like the petrol versions.

Ive read that the diesels used a pump that was inside the subtank, which was incorporated into the fuel level sender. But ive also read that the diesels didnt use a transfer pump at all...

Can anyone confirm the diesels setup?

Im planning to install a subtank into my HDJ and want to set it up as the factory did.

Another question, did any of the Oz spec 80's come with rear aircon??

Any help would be great

Diesel 80 series uses the two tanks seperately. Only the petrols pump from the sub to the main.

I own a sahara and it has rear air. Only this model came with it. The tank system runs on two solenoid valves, you will need to ind a t/d fuel system as the pickup from the tanks are 12mm all the way to the filter, and if you restrict it, the motor has no power.
