Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi all i have a hilux with a holden v6 auto and what i want to do is get rid of the standard tranfser case cross member

i've been thinking of using bubs rear transfer mount but them a thought of using the standard auto mount

so my question is witch mounting point would be better?

Are you using an adaptor plate to bolt transfer on or a divorced transfer case , There are two types of mount , solid of the chassis and a centre gearbox mount or a solid gearbox mount and two side mounts . A couple I have seen when using adaptor plate to transfer , they combine the mount to hold both , just depends on what you are doing , Cheers Paul.

it's using a marks4x4 adaptor

it will be driven daily and using for weekend and some comps

i have just replaced the tranfser as the old one cracked in half so that why i've been thinking of using the standard gearbox cross member

and whats the best bushes to use

I have a hilux with v6 auto and its solid mounted to the chasis with the standard rubber mount under the transfer. I think it some times allows two much twist movement in comps, has anyone got any pics of how they do the solid gearbox mount with the side mounts as it sounds like it might provide more support.

Mine is a nissan patrol trailing arm bush in the middle , and solidly mounted to chassis with bolts and crush tubes , also has top link mount incorporated into mount , Cheers Paul.
