bent armature?

Not sure if this fits this section but a mate of mines got a bent slightly armature shaft and was wondering if its possible just to heat up and bend back (its only a slight bend). Its on an electric Minn Kota boat motor, and the prop is mounted directly to it so its vibrating quite badly. any ideas??
