Ok i have a 4.5 petrol wagon TI (so it has ABS) and a gas system...
I have everything to put a dual battery in BUT no room under the bonnet for the battery, cept if i move the washer bottle.

My q is has anyone & if so where did you move the washer bottle to?
I can fit a 12" battery in there...

the option of putting a Glass battery in the cargo area is out .. the dogs would attack it!

And if there isnt any where to move the bottle to.. does anyone else have any ideas?

- rear Qtr panel is out the rear aircon is there

Please help .. I'm sick of the beer going cold

I'm going to have the same problem when i put a larger airbox in my gu.

I have now 2 new orbital batteries. However my battery still on the otherside but will be removing it and placing both my batteries side by side where the orginal starter battery goes.

will need to make up a custom battery holder however the 2 batteries will fit in this spot quite easily.

mate, i have a 100ah AGM battery in a black pvc box which as anderson plugs so it is removable. just ran 6mm2 cable from the main battery to the second one. has the isolator built into the battery box. is awesome cos it takes up bugger all room and it is removable. i can run take the fridge and battery out of the car when wanting to hit the tracks so i dont have to worry about the gear - all stays at camp. the 100ah AGM runs my 110l waeco awesome for about 3 days. AGM batteries are safe in cabin as they will not spill acid or gas if split.

for the record, i have a 03 TI wagon obviously with ABS. wasnt going to try and make room for a decent second battery under bonnet.
