Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Just picked up a 91 Feroza radiator up today from the wreckers to fit to my Sierra
The top hose is on the opposite side
Does anybody know of a thermostat housing that points right (looking from the front of the engine) as opposed to the standard one which point left

Plan is to junk the current chassis mounting brackets and mount the new radiator to the front apron.
Seems the easiest way to do it as the Feroza radiator has the mounts already for this
I know all the stuff about protection but I got a bull bar for that

It will bolt straight up on the passenegers side right beside the headlight
On the drivers side it will need a bracket from the horn mounting bolt down to the bottop of the apron
End result will be a radiator about 15-20% larger off set to the passengers side but all of the core is in the open

Bottom hose should connect straight up
Top hose will require some booty fab with a pipe running accross the top of the timing cover

Its going to be tight with height.
I am worried the drain plug will hang too low but we'll see
Hopefully it all works

Got an '85 Sigma and a '91 929 housing
The 929 is 90 degrees to the Suzuki and will point the outlet straight towards the radiator
The Singma one is in between
Both have 35mm outlets compared to the Suzuki 30mm
Both also point slightly upwards

Likey I will use the 929 one (added bonus = temp sensor)

May i ask why the Feroza radiator?

Extra piping means more joins, welds etc to potentially leak.

If your car is overheating with the sierra radiatorthere are a few things you can do to imporve things, for most people cleaning out the mud works.

Be careful of mounting to the front clip, a slight tap on a guard might end up bending your radiator. Would be best off fabbing new brackets similar to the factory ones.

My radiator has holes in it
Got the Feroza radiator cheap
Might be able to use a single hose for the top so no additional joins
Apron moun because the feroza rad is already set up for it
Will look tommorrow when the other rad is out to see if I can use or modify the old brackets

Done a quick fit today (need to drive tonight)
Was able use orginal style Suzuki mounts by using two drivers side brackets
Radiator requied trimming and will need two tabs brazed on
Used the 929 housing with a hose off a Carolla
Will post photos when I fix it up properly over the comming days
