Has anyone done a 3.8l V6 conversion into a bravo b2600 to replace the existing G6 2.6l efi engine.
Does the engine bolt straight on to the gearbox without an adapter kit?
Can a commodore auto box be fitted without modifying anything?
Does the engine mounts need to be moved forward or aft?

Any help would be good

As far as I know, no-one does a conversion kit for the Bravo. I looked into it 4 years ago, Marks 4wd and V6 conversions both did not, but that was for 4wd. I sold mine because of that and bought a Navara and did the swap into that. If yours is 2wd, I guess it would be much easier, the engine bay would be big enough anyway. Anything is possible, but theres no such thing as a straight bolt in.

I would look at using one of the phord 4 litre V6's (ex ford exlpoder).. from memory the B2600 and the ranger in the US are very similar. The ranger came with the 4.0 in it ... will pox all over a commo 3.8
